Enchanting and gorgeous! Driving up, the basilica looks like it's floating in the woods. The air is crisp and clean and the mountains are right there! There are a couple of hitels, cafes and shops, but the real attraction is the basilica m and the tunnel through the mountain to the little chapel built (and rebuilt) over the waterfall). Fantastic, peaceful views. They were playing music while we were there which made the experience feel even mkre otherworldly. Try to get there early if you can. Much nicer without so many people interrupting your visit. If a tour bus is an option, I highly recommend it. Parking looked to be very limited, even a ways away! Our tour bus drove us right up the the top, let us have free time and then took us back down. Such a blessing!
This venue was mind blowing - like something from Harry Potter! Very surreal, amazing surroundings and breathtaking views all around, if you are nearby, you must go and visit this historic venue

Remarkable place. Air is so fresh and clean. Plenty of services with a gift shop that won’t break the bank. Museum only €3 for adults €1 entry for everyone else.
